I kind of wish these scenarios weren’t true but they are and they did happen to me.
So, a couple of days ago I was working an evening shift at work. As I was walking and carrying jugs back towards the kitchen serving area, I noticed two boys were facing each other, one of whom pushed the other resulting in the one who was pushed losing his balance, waving his arms frantically in the air as he tried to stabilise himself and hitting (kind of.. karate chopping) me in the side of my head. He was extremely shy and was really apologetic so I couldn’t really get too annoyed but later that night half of my face swelled up and was still swollen the following day… 😦
And here is a little note to all the boys/men out there who think that blocking the pavement with their bike will cause a girl to talk to you. IT WON’T. In fact she’s probably more likely to ignore you and carry on in the direction she was heading without even batting an eyelid. This was me two days ago. Except when I got home I was pretty shaken up as I felt quite intimidated, even though I didn’t show it at the time.
Let me know if you bothered to read this and if you experienced anything similar to what I did! It would be great to hear any kind of feedback.
